Chiesi Italy achieved an excellent performance in 2006, winding up in fourteenth position in the domestic market at the year end.
This performance was made possible by the successful development of products being actively promoted, in particular Atimos® and Provisacor®. Growth in terms of direct sales totalled over 226 million Euro, despite price cuts for 14.2 million Euros.
This growth was accompanied and supported by a series of organisational development projects for the medical representatives which included the setting up of a further segmentation and targeting process.
Activities within the Primary Specialist Cardiovascular areas (35 ISF) were able to make a significant contribution with an excellent performance on the part of Provisacor and Iperten in the second half of 2006. |
