Social Responsability
Our Vision
Social responsibility for the Chiesi Group means harmonizing the search for economic results with the safeguarding of health and social and cultural obligations. By placing medical and scientific research at the centre of its activities, the Company has been able to realize significant innovations over time which, as well as enabling its growth, have made it possible to develop effective and safe therapeutic solutions. As well as generating value via research and the development, manufacturing and marketing of these therapeutic instruments, the Chiesi Group has contributed to science by supporting biomedical research programmes and humanitarian initiatives either directly or via the Chiesi Foundation.
Maintaining high standards of social responsibility means integrating principles of ethics and transparency into the company’s strategic vision, adopting and promoting conduct which is not only in line with the regulations in force but also correct in terms of economic and social relations.

The system of relations in which the Group operates is complex in so far as it involves continuous interaction with the medical and scientific community, the regulatory authorities of a large number of countries, a complex network of industrial and commercial partners, individuals within the Company, local communities and, of course, patients.
The Group implements socially, economically and environmentally responsible conduct with regard to all these parties, encouraging entrepreneurial and management style inspired by the Values Charter which places value on the ethical correctness of conduct.
